Artwork from local artists will be on display as well as artwork created through the Opening Minds through Art program at LiveWell.
Select artwork from the Opening Minds through Art (OMA) program will be available through a Silent Auction with 100% of the proceeds going back into the OMA program. Local artist, Bob Savage will be present to showcase and share about his inspiring artwork. Charles Michalak will also provide a few of his art pieces for the silent auction with 50% of the proceeds going to the LiveWell Day Center.

Opening Minds through Art (OMA) is grounded in person-centered principles. Artists living with dementia are paired with volunteers who are trained to rely on imagination instead of memory and focus on remaining strengths instead of lost skills. OMA enables people with dementia to become artists and teachers and leave a legacy of beautiful artwork.
